These are images of memories from our youth on Asgard, when Thor and I were inseparable… Such simpler times. They seem so long ago, even longer than the centuries that have passed. To me, they are merely flickering, fleeting sparks, like the crackling embers of a fire that bloom and die in a fraction of a moment. I do not know if we can ever be as we were again.

Hawkeye—What—What are you doing?
Stahp, Hawkeye, stahp!
I can’t!
My project from this week: Cloak for a cosplay of Loki from “Tales of Asgard” created for *SingleOrganicMachine. The design is, of course, based on the cartoon and the excellent panorama reference picture below, but I had to draft the pattern from scratch. Definitely the most complicated I’ve done yet!
Reference pictures for the design: here and here.

This is my finished cloak for my Tales of Asgard Loki cosplay! I am so glad I commissioned this fabulously talented lady! I cannot wait to go adventuring in Jotunheim in this!
HAPPY 32ND BIRTHDAY, THOMAS WILLIAM HIDDLESTON!
“I never wanted to be boxed in by a type of character that I’d always play. I find that I would get, I just wouldn’t find it very interesting, I don’t think anyone else would. Part of the reason I’m an actor is I’m interested in different shades of the truth in different parts of life and how quite often in the human race, you’re bound together by a certain unity in things. And acting and whatever you’re in, is about excavating the things that make us all the same: birth, death, love, grief, loss, loneliness, gratitude, generosity, humor, solitude, and all of those things exist in every story in any time, in any place.”
